I've enjoyed the craft of photography for over 50 years.
In more recent years, I've discovered the physical and technical challenges of photographing birds-in-flight. Almost any birds will do but I especially enjoy photographing large raptors: bald eagles, hawks, and osprey. For the last 10 years, I've spent time with Jack Hubley, a Master Falconer here in Pennsylvania who has graciously given me access to photograph his falconry demonstrations with Harris Hawks, and a Golden Eagle. It has been quite an experience to watch him work with these magnificent birds! I also enjoy photographing birds and wildlife in our backyard, local and state parks, and NWRs in the Middle Atlantic states.
I have been shooting digital since the mid-90's and currently use Canon and Nikon cameras and lenses.
