I've enjoyed the craft of making images for over 50 years.
In more recent years, I've discovered the physical and technical challenges of photographing birds-in-flight. Almost any birds will do but I especially enjoy photographing large raptors: bald eagles, hawks, and osprey. For the last 10 years, I've spent time with Jack Hubley, a Master Falconer here in Pennsylvania who has graciously given me access to photograph his falconry demonstrations with Harris Hawks, a Peregrine Falcon and a Golden Eagle. It has been quite an experience to watch him work with these magnificent birds! Other favorite subjects include photographing educational birds at wildlife rehabiliation refuges such as The Raptor Trust in Millington, NJ and the Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in Medford, NJ. I also enjoy photographing birds and wildlife in our backyard, local and state parks, and NWRs in the Middle Atlantic states.
I have been shooting digital since the mid-90's and currently use Nikon cameras and lenses.
