I've enjoyed the craft of making images for over 40 years. Although I stopped working as a professional photographer in 2005, I continue to enjoy the process of making pictures and meeting new people. In recent years, I've discovered the challenges of photographing birds-of-prey, especially bald eagles, hawks, and osprey. For the last several years, I've spent time with Jack Hubley, a Master Falconer here in Pennsylvania who has allowed me to photograph his demonstrations with Harris Hawks, Peregrine falcons and Golden eagles in Hershey, PA It's a real treat to watch him work with these magnificent birds! Other favorite subjects include photographing the educational birds at The Raptor Trust, a birds-of-prey rehabilitation facility in northern New Jersey, as well as birds in our backyard, other wildlife, and air shows.

I have been shooting digital since the mid-90's and use Canon digital cameras and lenses.

As I continue to find new subjects, embrace new techniques and improve my skills, I will post my best results here as well on my Flickr page. Thank you for visiting and enjoy!

Chris, just discovered your - words escape me! - phenomenal blog and photos! MY BF and I were at Pennypack Trust this morning and saw loads of turkeys, many of them sitting atop a fence! Who knew? David Robertson, the director, popped out of his side door to feed the turkeys what appeared to be coffee grounds.
