I've enjoyed the craft of making images for over 40 years. While I stopped working as a professional photographer in 2005, I continue to enjoy the process of seeing new things, making great pictures and meeting new people. In recent years, I've discovered the challenge of photographing birds-of-prey, especially bald eagles, hawks, and osprey. And more recently, I'm enjoying spending time with a Master Falconer here in Pennsylvania who has allowed me to photograph some of his demonstrations with Harris Hawks, Peregrine falcons and Golden eagles... it's a real treat to watch him work with these magnificent birds! Other favorite subjects include wildlife as well as air shows featuring our nation's precision military aircraft demonstration squadrons: the US Navy's Blue Angels and the US Air Force's Thunderbirds.
I have been shooting digital since the mid-90's and use Canon Series 1 digital cameras and "L" lenses. Although I worked for many years on the Windows platform for processing my images, I recently added an Apple MacBook Pro to my workflow and hope to transition 100% to the Mac in the coming months...
As I continue to find new subjects, embrace new techniques and improve my skills and technique, I will post my best results here... Thank you for visiting and enjoy!
